2018 – Year End Announcements and New Additions!!

2017 was a year of shifts and creation.  We opened our little studio in the Pajama Factory amongst the creatives at the end of August and have been inspired by the energy and the openness with which you’ve embraced your practice here.  As the year comes to a close we want to thank you for your love and light.  In this ever-changing dynamic we must evolve…and so….

We have some exciting new additions at Clear Sphere for 2018.

Our Beginner Yoga Series starts soon! Are you ready to begin your New Year’s resolution? In this series, you will learn the basics of hatha yoga, the system of physical exercises and breath. Each class demonstrates the fundamentals of principles, terminology, physical alignment, and breathwork to build a yoga practice. The classes are designed for new yogis, but anyone can join us! We put together a package that includes 3 class passes to Beginner Jumpstart Classes (that start Jan. 1st and run until Jan. 20) + 1 week of unlimited classes. $49 for the 3 class series + week of unlimited classes (you get to pick your week!). Join us for a special Full Moon class w/ Annelise. Monday, January 1st, 2018 from 7-8:30pm. Start your new year off with an evening of saluting mother moon, an introspective lunar meditation, and a yoga nidra sequence. Class pass holders can apply pass towards this class.

Detox with Julie Kennedy. Mondays 10am-11:15am.

Detox yoga is a slow, introspective flow that restores mind, body, and spirit. Incorporating twists, mild inversions, and circular motions, detox yoga stimulates the digestive, immune and lymph systems, while allowing students to focus on deep, healthful breathing. Detox yoga is a wonderful practice for anyone interested in bettering or maintaining good health, is sure to leave students feeling restored and renewed, and is a great practice for anyone with injury, illness or pain.

Meditate with Nina. Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm.

Guided instruction & discussion.  Learn techniques to help quiet the brain /reduce stress. Gathering together to build trust, we begin with light movement to release tension. Students are lead in a guided meditation, closing with a brief conversation for grounding and discussing the experience. Sessions are 45-60 mins. Everyone is welcome.

Yin/Yang with Annelise and Laurene Roup. Wednesdays 7pm-8:15pm.

Yang / Yin is a balancing class in which you give your body a little bit of both- basically half and half.  We call up our active sun side to move and engage our muscles, to raise our heart rate, and to feel the energetic effects of action.  We then elicit our passive lunar side to calm and cool, tap into our parasympathetic nervous system, use time and gravity to work on the fascia and connective tissue of the body.  We thrive when we are harmonious and balanced.

Gentle Yoga with Ashley English Tobin. Thursdays 7pm-8:15pm.

Gentle Yoga is a class structured around rejuvenating and healing the body. This class is held at a slower pace and focuses on stretching all areas of the body, while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles. A restful, calming class including breathing, gentle flowing movements, passive and supported poses. This is a perfect beginning yoga class that is also appropriate for those working with injury, limited mobility, or who prefer a softer, gentler approach to yoga.

On Fridays 10am-11:15am Julie will lead a Funky Flow class.

Join her for…..anything goes!  Start the weekend off with a playful flowing practice.  Teacher’s choice on Funky Flow Friday.  Will always incorporate breathwork, asana, and meditation with foundations in vinyasa flow. May include work on inversions and play with props. Come with an open mind, be content in the present, without attachment to the outcome.  Now you’re practicing yoga……

All levels appropriate.

Annelise will continue to lead Raise Your Vibe (a mix of Vinyasa and Kundalini) now on Tuesday early mornings 6am-7am and continuing on Saturdays 10-11:15am, as well as Daybreak Devotional (Kundalini) on Thursdays early mornings 6am-7am.  

Yin with Reiki will also continue on Sunday evenings from 5-6:30pm. The perfect transition from weekend to a new start.

With our expansion we will increase the price/class slightly in January. Get your class passes now! They are on sale at these low rates here until the end of December 2017. We will continue to offer a discounted student rate of $8.
